Aptos are non-invasive threads, face and body lifting methods, contouring, and rejuvenation. The technique was invented in 1996 by Georgian plastic surgeon Marlen Sulamanidze and developed by Dr. George and Constantin Sulamanidz.

Several years have passed since introducing the first Aptos thread and method to the aesthetic world. Modernized Aptos fibers have created an all-inclusive product system for everyone – juniors, seniors, and professional doctors.

The threads come with specially designed barbs for lifting and revitalizing effects. Once inserted into the subdermal tissue, the barbs lift the skin, create fibrosis and stimulate the production of new collagen, which is essential to support the soft tissues that lift and hold them upright. As a result, a better contour of the face is visible immediately after the procedure.

Aptos threads rightfully belong to plastic and aesthetic medicine. They are mainly used for contouring and shaping the face and body. Aptos threads are fully absorbable. The result is immediately visible and lasts for 1.5 years.

The threads are inserted into the fat layer, not the subcutaneous layer, which prevents them from showing through or being palpable through the skin. Thanks to them, the tissue is well attached, creating a more substantial and even tension when holding soft tissues. The procedure is performed by a specialist who has completed training in introducing Aptos threads.

The procedure takes 20-30 minutes.
